Jabseed Wins Best High School Social Impact Award

Four students from the Injaz Business Club representing the school won the Best High School Social Impact Award this past month with their environmentally sustainable project JABSEED. Joud Massad, Aseel Al Anqar, Bader Abu Ajeeneh, and Sara Al Hatou combined their first name initials to create the name of the project. It took them 72 hours to come up with a plan for the recyclable and plant-able stationary set that they now sell online.

“8 million trees are cut down to make paper and wood materials, our invention is zero waste of plastic and wood and comes with soil and a pot to plant after use, it is truly a unique product,” said the president of the club Aseel Al Anqar.

We are very proud of you and can’t wait to see how far this great gesture towards climate action is going to go.
