George Town Model United Nations 2023 12 students from DeBakey participated in the prestigious 3-day annual George Town University Model United Nations in Education city with over 700 students representing schools locally and internationally.
This academic simulation of the United Nations where students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real-world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country.
This year’s theme was Global Security: Learning from the Past. Three DeBakey students picked up awards, Two DeBakey students out of possible 12 awards were awarded for BEST DELEGATE with the ceremony hosted in the JW Marriot.
