On the 18th of September, Qatar Foundation university’s visited DeBakey. The universities that visited were Northwestern University, Texas A&M University, Weill Cornell, Medicine, Virginia Commonwealth, University, Georgetown University, Hamad bin Khalifa University, Qatar University, and Carnegie Mellon University.
DeBakey seniors had an opportunity to meet representatives from over 80 regional and international universities, colleges and vocational training centers during the annual University Expo Qatar hosted
at the Westin Hotel on September 19th, 2022.
Our seniors received the latest information on local and international scholarships and financial aid as well as the option to apply to the institutes directly. DeBakey students had an opportunity to represent their creative side on September 15th as it was ‘Anything But a backpack Day’. There was a baby stroller, a cooking pot, a cereal box, to name a few.
