On behalf of our outstanding faculty, staff, and administrators, I wish to invite you to join us at the Micheal E. DeBakey High School Qatar for Health Professions. I am very proud of the academic excellence that we provide every student from the 5th to the 12th grade. In the tradition of Dr. Micheal E. DeBakey, renown heart surgeon and innovator, our school offers a 21st century American curriculum. With our small class size model and focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) needed to matriculate into Health Profession universities, DeBakey is a unique academic solution in Qatar. Our graduates attend some of the most prestigious universities in the world.
We provide a nurturing and caring educational environment that helps students develop and succeed in their rigorous academic programs. This process allows our students to excel when they transfer to their university of choice. We treat every student with respect and value the diversity of cultures that adds value to the learning process. Our students also excel in extra-curricular activities, including award winning debate, athletic, and robotic competition teams.
I welcome you and your children to join our DeBakey family, where your child’s outstanding student experience is our only focus.
DeBakey campus was full of sports activities on Thursday. Students and Staffs were grouped into their Intellectual Circle House Color: Red, Blue, Orange and Green. It was such an energy-filled sports day.
Congratulations to all the participants, winners and House Team Leaders.
DeBakey's Visual Arts HS students put a lot of effort and dedication to draw the still life challenge. They had to draw a composition with different objects in proportion from their specific point on view, adding shading to create a realistic 3D effect. Congratulations!
